Notes

  • The Post Author block can be used in posts and pages and in theme templates and template parts.
  • Author Settings include:
    • Author select list
    • Show avatar toggle
    • Avatar size select list: 24 x 24, 48 x 48, 96 x 96
    • Show bio toggle.
  • Use the Show bio toggle to display or hide the author’s biography defined in Users > Edit > About Yourself – Biographical Info.
  • In my opinion Author Settings should come before the Typography and Colour settings.

  • There is no option to link to the author’s posts. eg https://blocks.wp-a2z.org/author/vsgloik
  • Change text alignmentUse Change text alignment to choose how to align the text.
    • Align text leftUse the Align text left drop-down from the toolbar to align text to the left.
    • Align text centreAlign content centrally.
    • Align text rightUse the Align text right drop-down from the toolbar to align text to the right.
  • BoldUse Bold to mark selected text as bold.
  • ItalicUse Italic to mark selected text as italic.
